Great views of Tokyo from the top floor!

The sky bar at the top of Asahi tower has lots of potential but is pretty dang poor in execution. The staff appear not to know what they're doing, when their only role is to pour beer and point people to an empty table. They also impose a queueing system, despite there being clearly empty rows of seats behind them on the day I visited. The views are amazing but the whole interior decor is cheap and tacky. Wipe clean varnished plywood tables reminiscent of a stay in a 1980s budget family holiday camp. Bare magnolia walls with no decoration. No wifi. Hard to find too, with bad signposting. Come on guys, do better.

I was confused with this place. Asahi owns it all but they serve their own kind of house brew. Their is a restaurant in the building behind it on the 22nd floor for a gorgeous view and some of the craft beer.

It is a famous buildings in Tokyo designed by the architect Philippe Starck. The building is near of The Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa area.

An unique building

Disappointing. Only Disappointing. No Asahi Beer. No Asahi Roof Top Bar. How dare you? There should be less than one star.

Asahi Beer Headquarters is located at 1-chōme-23-1 Azumabashi, Sumida City, Tōkyō-to 130-0001, Japan. This place is known as a place to enjoy drinks, especially beer and a place to rest. The price of drinks here is more expensive than other places, but everything pays off with the atmosphere of a comfortable place and many beautiful spots to take photos.

Although no 360 view but still this place rocks as the view from the Sky Room towers over all other buildings in the vicinity! The beer might be a little pricier than other places but the view is unbeatable!

I had the weissen craft beer from here and it was amazing.

Headed up to have a beer just after lunch. Absolutely no one there, I expected a crowd and waiting! Views across the Sumida river and beyond were very nice. Staff appeared pretty bored with the whole afternoon however were friendly enough. Small snack menu went well with the brewery fresh beer. Day time view was really nice, night time views would also be fantastic!

The restaurant at the top is ridiculous. Very small and was surprised to see only 2 kinds of beer there.

Testing set is really considerate for the 1st comer,you can have all main kinds for your trial... awesome!

If you are Asahi beer lover than this you need to visit. A beer with a view towards Sky Tree or Senso-ji temple on top of the HQ. There are several restaurants but I always select the ine on the 21st floor (take the lift to 20F and additional escalators to reach this bar).

A small venue and pricey beers, but with an excellent view of Tokyo, Skytree, and Mount Fuji.

We were just here. My husband, me and our 14 year old niece. We were told it was a minimum 300 per person. We were with a minor so my husband and i ordered a beer and our niece got potato wedges. When our bill came they added an extra 600 on our bill at 300 × 2. We dont know why and could not figure out how to get them to fix this. We then went to the flame building and figured we would try the restuarant there (which is advertised at the entrance). When we got off on the 4th floor for the restuarant a man, who worked there, started yelling at us saying party only. He was pushing the elevator button and brushing us back i to the elevator. We don't care if it was closed to the public...he did not have to be rude and yell. Overall I would just skip this entire compound

Great place. Stopped by and had several beers while watching the sunset from a higher floor with great view. Could see mount fuji from this location.

Great place excellent beer

I didn't get to go inside but the building was cool looking. They made it resemble a glass of Asahi beer.If they do tours or whatever, I would have loved to go check it out.

Great place to have a beer and enjoy the view, the menu at the restaurant is pretty basic and the place is kinda small but it's worth it!

Beautiful view of Sumida River and inspiring architecture of the pint-looking building and the horizontal flame! I didn't know about the Sky Bar on the 22nd Floor :(I need to go back!

Go to the asahi terrace restaurant and enjoy the fresh and extra cold beer, skip the museum. So smooth.

Nice restaurant with great beer food and beer tasting menu. Good service. Interesting design of the building. NOT AT ALL accessible if you have a stroller or a wheelchair. You have to climb a huge flight of stairs

After the long walk in asakusa. Its a great place to relax and admire the view of sumida here while drinking a ice cold asahi beer. More some reason I dont find the beer here pricey because in exchange for an awesome view!

World class

Not far from the Tokyo Skytree lies the Asahi beer HQ. Here you can enjoy a ice cold beer and some nibbles whilst looking out over the river and across the City skyline. Limited seats with a view but worth it.

Dont fall for the craft beer sign on the ground floor outside. Head up to the 21st floor and get the great night skyline view.

Intriguing architecture design from Philippe Starck. I can not comment inside as we preferred to go up on Tokyo Sky Tree for better views

Looks nice from the outside, but currently closed for the holidays, reopens on January 2nd.

Asahi is the famous beer 🍺 brand of Japan.Headquarter of Asahi is nearby river Sumida.Typical landmark for everyone. I have taken the snap from other side of Sumida.

You can drink plus you get to see the giant golden poo on top of the building. A cool sight to see in Tokyo if you have the time.

Next to the godzilla's poop -like structure, you will experience an amazing view on the Sumida river, asakusa's temples and on Tokyo. It is a West view, so it's better to come at sunset and also be warned that you won't be the only one coming for that, therefore be prepared to wait a little.Beside the view, the bar is enough by itself to come enjoy a beer (an Asahi of course), discover the black one and eat some Edamame or macha cheesecake in a cosy atmosphere.In my opinion, this is a far better view than the one offered on the West part of Tokyo, in the two towers of the city administration building in shinjuku district.
